Rough Guide Oman

Deze Rough Guide is een handzaam boek met veel informatie, het gaat ook uitgebreid in op de geschiedenis van het land en van de beschreven locaties en bezienswaardigheden. Het is wel verstandig om openingstijden e.d. van te voren te checken. Wat jammer is is dat de auteur over alles even enthousiast en positief is (bijv. Al Seeb), en daarom vind ik deze guide niet zo geschikt om een bezoek aan Oman voor te bereiden en een goede selectie te maken. Toch ook maar de Lonely Planet aanschaffen.
